Tongue tie program

This special myofunctional therapy program is offered to children and adults who are planning to undergo tongue tie (and/or other oral ties / or tethered oral tissues aka TOTs, such as lip and buccal ties) revision. It is focused on preparation for surgery and rehabilitation of oral function post-surgery. The program consists of fortnightly appointments and is based on a minimum required number of therapy sessions* (8 therapy session, 1 review and 1 follow up). The appointments are usually scheduled fortnightly and consist of checking and issuing myofunctional therapy exercises and associated practices specific to the individual.

* In some cases clients may need a few extra sessions to finalize chewing and swallowing function.
